Hosted by the Nic Comparato of the NYC Bird Alliance with support from Angela Stangenberg of FDR Four Freedoms NYS Park, birders gathered to add sightings to the annual count. Snow created a quiet cushion to better hear bird song. Goldfinches stood out amidst the Dark-eyed Juncos, Pale-bellied Brants, White-throated sparrows and Mourning doves.
