About the Event
Learn from Adam Walker, programs manager for Battery Urban Farm, about the many benefits native plants offer to people and wildlife and how to integrate them into your own garden. We’ll explore niches, functional diversity, plant guilds, and succession, and highlight northeast native plants that can be used for food, medicine, habitat, and craft. Participants will also learn to make natural cordage from native plant fibers.
